One of these traditions is that of a syrian wedding, a lavish affair with many unique rituals which might be held in great regard and carry the fat of many dreams weaved by a bride    and groom for their special day. <\/p>\n<p> <img src=\"https:\/\/images.pexels.com\/photos\/15268376\/pexels-photo-15268376.jpeg\" width=\"640\" alt=\"https:\/\/images.pexels.com\/photos\/15268376\/pexels-photo-15268376.jpeg\"><\/img> <\/p>\n<p> The hammam party    may be the male equivalent of a marriage shower and it is hosted by the groom\u2019s best friends and family. The    group gathers on the groom\u2019s house and escorts him towards the hammam in which he takes his last bathroom    being a bachelor when his friends celebrate him with meals,    drink and music. <\/p>\n<p> Once he is finished    getting dressed, the groom\u2019s relatives and buddies help him put on his wedding dress when singing classic telbise (dressing) songs.    Once he can ready, the hammam\u2019s friends and his family welcome him with a threw dough known as Yalekhta to the door. That    is believed that this tradition was originally made its debut in the country as villagers    would definitely come for the couple\u2019s house and toss the dough to congratulate all of them on their impending marriage. <\/p>\n<p> During the marriage ceremony reception, gentle music is played and appetizers will be served. The maid of honor plus the ushers come about first to greet everyone while wearing the white    gowns. The rest of the guests and family members get ready for the grand entrance of the bride and groom    by standing by their homes  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.history.com\/topics\/holidays\/womens-history-month\" rel=\"sponsored\">https:\/\/www.history.com\/topics\/holidays\/womens-history-month<\/a>  using a Yalekhta relating to the doors. After having a short hang on, the wedding pair enters and all start to cheer    louder as they observe them jogging in throughout the doors. <\/p>\n<p> As they    make their way throughout the hall, guests are greeted by participants of the bride\u2019s and groom\u2019s families upon both sides with food, refreshments and sweets.    Everyone then begin to dance a traditional    Assyrian Chaldean Syrian style of breaking a leg called the yalam.
